We stopped here for a quick breakfast and were impressed. We did see some negative reviews in TripAdvisor regarding the hotel in a similar name as "Hotel Virad" (https://www.tripadvisor.in/Hotel_Review-g10819856-d12335288-Reviews-Hotel_Virad-Kottakkal_Malappuram_District_Kerala.html ), but overall our experience was positive. The decor and lighting was quite nice. Bathrooms were clean too. The food was quite good too. Overall positive.

This hotel , located in the “ massage “ town of kottakkal , in the mallapuram District of Kerala , is a very comfortable place to stay . This town is very famous for its famed Ayurvedic ( Indian traditional system of medicine ) treatment . This place is visited by ppl from all over the world , especially the gulf , looking for alternate remedies for chronic illness such as back ache , joint pains etc etc ! The hotel offers complimentary breakfast , not buffet though , a la carte , and the food is pretty good , though the restaurant is very dimly lit and can feel a little less airy ! Apart from that , it’s a good place to stay !
